New York City Employers Must Make Room for Another Notice Distribution and Posting Requirement
Beginning July 1, 2024, New York City employers must distribute to employees and "conspicuously post" a notice provided by city agencies that list employee rights under federal, state, and local law. This new obligation is a reminder for employers to stay on top of compliance.

In September 2023, the New York City Department of Consumer and Worker Protection ("the Department") finalized amendments to rules ("final rules") under the New York City Earned Safe and Sick Time Act ("ESSTA”).
